Recently, we told you about the iPhone Plus concept, which featured a pico projector. Yes, we’d all like it if Apple could design an iPhone as thin as the present one and include a pico projector in it. But if they aren’t able to do that, then you can always try one of these.
The PoP Video projector is a portable device that can be attached to an iPod Touch or iPhone to project videos, photos, Facebook, Web etc. The accessory does add some thickness to your iPhone, but it is portable and projects on any flat surface with a resolution of 960 x 540. You can carry it around anywhere you want, and when attached to your iOS device, it also acts as a stand. However, you cannot project videos or photos directly from the stock Video or Photos app, instead you’ll need to use the PoP Video app.
For $99 a piece, I think it’s quite a good deal. It’s really portable, fits in your pocket and you can project your videos with a large group of people. The PoP Video projector works only with the iPhone 4S/4 and iPod Touch 3rd/4th gen devices and requires iOS 5 and above. On a complete charge, the device can run for 2 hours non-stop, which isn’t that bad. If you’re interested, you can pre-order the PoP Video projector from the link below:
